Dear Ann Marie,

I am very glado and happy to find your blog!!, I love everything about Turkey, I want to know as much as I can about history (modern and ancient), culture, people, usages, traditions, well...everything!! I am interested about Roman Empire, Greece, Egypt(...)I feel deep passion about ancient geography and history of course (art, technologies, architecture, etc...), your blog is great I will continue reading it every night. Some times I have not free time but since now you are in my favorites. I will be awaiting for your book's publication. About what I have read -until now- in your blog; it seems like you really enjoy your great life after teaching, and learning about this incredible culture with those amazing trips that you have done. Teaching is great, knlowedge is the only thing that no one could take away from us, I hope some day teach something to some one =) Big hug! Greets from Mexico!!!

P.S. What a scare at Istambul! Did you really felt unsafe? I think you was very brave taking those pictures =) one more hug for that :)

Hi Anne Marie, I am also a MN native living in Turkey. I see you are headed back to the states. Then you are planning to come back out to Istanbul again? Just wanted to say hello to another MN native. I do really miss things at times but am able to go back often. I have your blog linked to my site.

Take care,

Smiling Hello:)
With a pleasure I see that the second oldest city in Europe, Bulgaria enchanted you. A great post supported with so vivid photos on this Balkan delight where my family roots also come from.

Oh, and I am so glad to see my City Ist'l how beautifully glowing from your eyes into the words. Isn't it true that everyone's got a different Istanbul:)

All of my best wishes~

I stopped by to pass on a Kreativ Blogger Award. Others awarded it to me with the charge to pass it onto others. Visit the link below for details. My husband is teaching at RC and I began reading your blog last year when we knew we were moving from Cairo to Istanbul. I enjoy reading your blog so much and wish you all the best.
